Velma "Lady" Fowlkes

Velma "Lady" Fowlkes, 56, entered into rest on August 1, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 4, 2923 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel.

Ms. Fowlkes was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late David and Margie Nell Fowlkes.  She worked as a CNA.  Ms. Fowlkes will be remembered for her lighthearted, feisty nature and for her forgiving heart.  She loved her family and cherished her time with her grandkids.

Ms. Fowlkes is survived by her sons, Michael McKinney, Devon Fowler and Damien Flowers; her sisters, Zvette Fowlkes, Anonia Fowlkes and Maria Albert; and by her 5 grandchildren.
