Varonda Nash

Varonda Nash, 54, of Sorrento, LA passed away on August 7, 2022 in Augusta, GA.

Varonda was born to Annabelle Bennett and James Bennett on November 17, 1967. She attended and graduated from Saint Amant High School.

She worked as a caregiver for more than 20 years. Nurturing and speaking life into many children and families. She has touched so many families' lives throughout her time on this earth.

She was involved in cooking, plants, outreach, feeding the homeless, and attending New Life Church. She had a servant's heart and loved to serve others through encouraging words, prayers, and cooking meals.

Varonda is survived by her oldest daughter Lashonda Nash, her middle daughter Danielle Wilson and her spouse Corey Wilson, and her youngest son Irvin Nash.

She is survived by her siblings Johnnie Nash, Melinda Bennett, Lionet Bennett and Joshua Bennett.

She is also survived by her 5 grandkids who she loved dearly. Bella Wilson, Karter Wilson, Amira Nash, Amir Nash, and Adonis Footman. She loved and lived for her grandkids and it was her life's mission to see them happy, whole, and fulfilled.

A balloon release ceremony will be held at 4pm, August 20, 2022, at Lamar Dixon Pond.
