Uno Wallace Filpus

Augusta, GA – Uno Wallace Filpus, 92, husband of the late Agnes Filpus, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

There will be no local services.

Survivors include three sons; Paul Edward Filpus-Luyckx (Mary), David Alan Filpus (Cheryl), Thomas James Filpus, four grandchildren; Gail Carver (Jason), Karen Corry, Greg Filpus, Mark Filpus (Katie), two great grandchildren; Henry Carver, Wendy Carver.

Uno graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in electrical engineering, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and retired as an executive vice president with Alpena Power Company, Alpena, MI.
