Tyler James Griffin

Tyler James Griffin, 21, of Martinez, Georgia, entered into rest on Sunday, April 30, 2023.


A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Journey Community Church, 4798 Hardy McManus Road in Evans with the Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.


Tyler is survived by his parents, Travis Griffin (Dawn) and Angie Brocato (Trey), a sister, Madison Griffin, grandparents, Maxine and Dennis Darnell, his uncle, Terrell Griffin (Joe), stepsisters, Katherine Lamb (Tyler) and Abby Brocato, a stepbrother, Landon Brocato and a step grandmother, Kay Brocato.


Tyler attended Lakeside High School in Evans. In 2020, he began working at Southeast Connections (SEC). He was a kind, fun loving young man who enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and the family dogs. Deer hunting and spending time with his dad were favorite pastimes and he was a true hardworking Georgia Bulldog fan.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1442 Harper Street, Augusta, 30901 or to the Center for New Beginnings, Inc., 727 West 6th Street, Waynesboro, 30830.
