Stella Kennedy

AUGUSTA- Ms. Stella Kennedy entered into rest on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Doctors Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Platts Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Dexter Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Kennedy is survived by her son, Wayne Kennedy Jr. (Ruby), her daughters, Maureen McKinnon (Barry), Patricia Johnson (Kevin), and Marilyn Joy Yohe (Stan) and one sister, Nanda DeLaurentys. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren – Ashley, Laura, Brandi, Ronald, Alex, Becky, Sarah, Max Jr., Joy Lynn, Des, as well as a niece, nephews and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Max Kennedy and Ronald Kennedy.

“Momma” was born in Rome, Italy in 1934 and became a proud U.S. Citizen. Her passions included Star Trek, bingo and reading. Above all, she was devoted to her children.
