Stanley Wade Turner

Stanley Wade Turner, 62, beloved husband of Candy Smith Turner, entered into rest on Friday, April 4, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Kiokee Baptist Church in Appling, GA with the Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Guests are invited to visit with the family immediately after the service.

Stanley was a devoted husband and father, as well as a passionate outdoorsman. He shared a deep bond with his friends and family, always willing to lend a helping hand and offer support whenever it was needed. Gifted in many aspects of life, Stanley’s gentle wisdom, warm sense of humor, and steadfast support made him a true pillar of strength and love.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Candy; his children, Benjamin and Cody Turner (Kinsley Nelson); his mother, June Turner; his siblings, Rocky Turner (Janet), Sherry Stewart (Vernon), Dale Turner, Cindy Youngblood (David) and Randy Turner (Jodi); and his grandchildren, Carden, Cohen, Brody, and Emma June. He was preceded in death by his father, Harley J. Turner Jr., and his brother Steve Turner (Michelle).
