Spann Greene

AUGUSTA- Mr. Spann H. Greene, 89, beloved husband of 62 years of the late Agnes Greene, entered into rest on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. K.C. Stevens officiating.

Mr. Greene was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brother, Charles Greene and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his great nephew, Chris Oexner, and a life long friend, Peggy Quattlebaum.

If so desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta, Georgia, 30904, or to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, Georgia, 30909.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, November 25, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
