Sean Michael Decosta

After an eight-year hard fought battle with multiple myeloma, Sean Michael DeCosta has returned home to our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
Sean married the love of his life Melissa (Watson) DeCosta on January 17, 2009. Together they have two children, Luke Michael DeCosta and Madison Kalani DeCosta. Sean is also survived by two other children, Sean Michael DeCosta Jr. and Angela Sara DeCosta. Sean is also survived by his brother, Dennis Robert DeCosta Jr.
Sean enjoyed spending time with his family and being the executive chef for the household. He enjoyed family outings like going to the beach, sporting events, and attending church services. He spent much of his time reading his bible and passing on the teachings of Christ to his children. He was a member of the Village Church in Santa Clarita, California which is where he met his beautiful wife, Melissa. Sean was also a member of the True North Church in North Augusta, South Carolina.
Memorial services for Sean will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Platt's Funeral Home, Belair Road Chapel. The reception begins at 4:00pm Eastern and the memorial service will start at 5:00 PM.
A special live streaming event for the Memorial Service will begin at 5pm EST for those family and friends that are not able to attend the services in person.
