Sara Louise Griffin

Ms. Sara Louise Griffin, 77, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Ms. Griffin was born in Washington, Georgia and raised in Harlem, Georgia. She and her family moved to Augusta in 1959. She was employed at the VA Hospital for many years, as a cashier.

Ms. Griffin was preceded in death by her parents, DeWitte C. Griffin and Emily C. Kent Griffin.

Survivors include her brother, James D. “Buster” Griffin of Augusta, GA, three sisters, Mildred A. Dreifuss of Warner Robins, GA, Gonnie Eula Ween Stewart of Augusta, GA and Brenda Sue Odom of Thomasville, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
