Sally graduated from Keveny Memorial Academy in Cohoes, NY. She spent most of her life living in Troy, NY and worked as a bookkeeper for over 30 years at Grand Union Supermarkets throughout the Capital District. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who she loved to spoil and play games with. She was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods and the Beau Rivage where she loved to play the slot machines. She loved music and singing and dancing and always had a smile on her face. She was a joy to be around and always made those around her laugh and smile. Sally was a kind and compassionate soul who prayed daily for those less fortunate than her and was devoted to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Her daughters will always remember the joy she brought to their lives and the lives of others as well as her strength of spirit.
The family will be having a private ceremony to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, or to the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter at act.alz.org
