Appling, GA - Mrs. Sara Blackmon Sims, beloved wife of Owen Sims, entered into rest on Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at West Acres Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Harmon officiating.

In addition to her husband, Owen, she is survived by her daughter, Ashley Davis (Joe), her grandchildren, Tristen Davis and Ashton Davis, her sister, Sandra Williams, and her nieces and nephews, Todd Williams (Tracy), Kevin Williams (Debbie) and Tara Sanborn (John).

The family will receive friends at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 PM.
