Sandra Dean Jones

Mrs. Sandra Dean Jones, 71, was born on April 30, 1946 and died peacefully at home with her family by her side on February 18, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Gary Nicholas officiating.
Sandra was the daughter of the late W.P. and Marie Sanders of Screven County. She was a member of Martinez United Methodist Church. Sandra was a very loving, caring, and hardworking woman who loved Elvis Presley, the beach, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Sandra leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Vernon E. Jones; her daughter, Kimberly Jones Beard (Keith); her grandson, Jacob Jones; her sisters, Re McKinney and Kay Dixon (Ralph); her brothers, Al “Doe Doe” Sanders (Elaine) and Bill Sanders (Pat); her 4 step-grandchildren, Austin and Hannah Beard, Karlee Aiello (Jared) and their daughter Blakelee, and Walker Jones and son Riley; her sister-in-law, Juanita Marcucci; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, February 21, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
