Rose Ann Giles

Rose Ann Giles, 79, of Evans, passed away on May 21st, 2023 in Evans, GA.

Rose Ann was born Augusta, GA to E.C. ‘Smitty’ Smith, Sr. and Gladys Smith on October 10th, 1943. She went to school at Richmond Academy. Rose Ann married Larry Maxwell Giles on August 12th, 1959 in Aiken, SC.

Rose Ann was a member of The Sanctuary Church, Evans, GA.

Rose Ann is preceded in death by (Husband, Larry M. Giles; Father, E.C. (Smitty) Smith, Sr.; Mother, Gladys Smith; and Brother, E.C. (Bubber) Smith, Jr.

Rose Ann is survived by her children, Darryl (Michelle) Giles of Martinez, GA, Keefe (Karen) Giles of Evans, GA, Brian (Theresa) Giles of Harlem, GA, Auburn (Lizeth) Giles of Huntersville, NC, and Brett Giles of Huntersville, NC.

Grandchildren: Brittany (Jonathan) Willis, Lance Giles, Shelby Giles, Summer Giles, Taylor Giles, and Victoria Giles.

Great-Grandchildren, 6th: Forrest Willis, Emily Willis

Sister-in-law: Patricia Morris

Pallbearers will be Shawn Merzlak, Gary Land, Benny Searcy, Danny Hall, Randy Stukas, and Nelson Daniel

Visitation will be 1pm Wednesday May 24th, 2023 at The Sanctuary Church, 4584 Cox Rd, Evans, GA, 30809.

Graveside services will be held immediately following visitation 2:45pm Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Pastor Bryan Cockrell of The Sanctuary Church, officiating.

Arrangements are by Platt’s Funeral Home, Evans, GA.
