Ronnie W. Rountree

Augusta, GA – Ronnie W. Rountree, 64, entered into rest on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Doctor’s Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Rev. Alan Faulkner officiating.

Ronnie was a graduate of Butler High School in 1964. He currently worked at Savannah River Site. Ronnie was also a 44 year member of Local 150 Plummers and Steamfitters Union.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Veronica (Woosie) Lucas Rountree, two daughters, Shannon Rountree Hershkowitz and husband David of Evans,GA, Lynn Rountree Dixon and husband Van of Evans, GA, one brother, Robert “Bob” Rountree and wife Paula of Evans,GA, five grandchildren, Lucas, Shelby, and Logan Dixon, Ian and Adam Hershkowitz.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 10:00 AM until service time.
