Robert "Bobby" Monroe Hair

Robert “Bobby” Monroe Hair, 84, passed away on February 28, 2022 in Toomsboro, GA. He was born in Augusta, GA to Earl and Pearl Hair on October 19, 1937.

He was an educator throughout his life. First, as a schoolteacher and then as a children’s counselor. He was an avid reader, with a fondness for history and science books. He was a lifelong member of Lewis Memorial UMC.

Bobby is survived by his niece, Jeanette (Wade) Walden; nephew, Gene Hair and a number of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Hair and Earl Hair.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bobby’s honor to Lewis Memorial UMC.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery 5555 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, GA 30809 with Pastor Eddie Bradford officiating.
