Ret. Army Us Sgm Jesse W. Mcneel

Appling, GA.—SGM Jesse W. McNeel, Retired, 64, of Cobbham Rd., Appling, GA., beloved husband of twenty seven years to Mrs. Glenda L. McNeel, entered into rest on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at his residence.

Memorial service will be announced following the holidays.

A native of Ft. Worth, TX., Mr. McNeel was a retired army veteran, having served five tours in the Vietnam War. He was also the warehouse manager for AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange System).

Additional survivors include two sons, Michael T. Cox of Appling, GA. and Anthony McNeel of El Paso, TX.; two daughters, Melissa K. Martinez and husband, Carlos of Burleson, TX. and Lorraine Byrne and husband, Peter of Atlanta, GA.; two brothers, Phillip McNeel and David McNeel; two sisters, Judy Lynch and Bonnie Ferguson; six grandchildren, Cord W. Martinez, Eric Murillo-Cox, Donovan Lee Moses, Kristen R. Byrne, Brandon J. Bustillos and Nathan A. McNeel. Mr. McNeel was preceded in death by his brother, Richard McNeel.
