Ralph Atwell

Ralph N Atwell, 86, of Harlem, Georgia, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 1, 2026 in Harlem, Georgia.

Ralph was born in Columbus, Georgia to William Henry Atwell and Annie Mae Atwell (Hill) on March 5, 1940. He married Mary Elizabeth Atwell (Willliams) on February 2, 1963 in Fortson, Georgia.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the united States Army.

He was involved in Christian ministry, Church ministry, and the Homeless ministry during the last 40 years.

Ralph is preceded in death by David N. Atwell, Trevor G. Atwell, and Mary E. Atwell.

Ralph is survived by his son, William Atwell and wife Laura Atwell, daughter-in-law Toni Atwell Temple and husband Dean Temple, and brother-in-law Richard L. Williams and wife Vicki Williams. His grandchildren: William’s two children, David Tyler Atwell, Cara Atwell, Sierra Hathcock, and Jordan Temple. He has several great grandchildren. 

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Malone Morris of West Acres Baptist Church officiating.
