Paul J. Haddox

Martinez, GA – Paul J. Haddox, 84, beloved husband of 58 years to Mrs. Mary E. Haddox, entered into rest on Monday November 2, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Marvin United Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Moon and Dr. Carl Rhoads officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Haddox was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church. He retired from the military and was a veteran of WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War. During his military career he was awarded two bronze stars and two Army commendation medals. Mr. Haddox was a lifetime member of American Legion and the VFW. He was also a member of the Disable Veterans of America. He had friends all over the world and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons; Ronald J. Haddox and wife Lindsay of Arlington, VA, Mark A. Haddox and wife Haven of Martinez, GA, one sister; Jo Powell of Shreveport, LA, and his nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the funeral home.
