Patricia Raybon

Mrs. Patricia Louise "Pat" Raybon, beloved wife of James T. "Pete" Raybon, entered into rest on Wednesday morning, April 23, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her husband and her three children.

She is finally at peace in her eternal home in a place called "Heaven". She was 75 years old.

The family will receive friends at Platt's Funeral Home, 337 N. Belair Road, Evans, GA on Tuesday evening, April 29, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in the Belair Road Chapel of Platt's Funeral Home with Dr. Donald C. Prosser officiating.

Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Pat was very active in the local church for many years but even more active in the process of taking care of the needs of her family. She was very content with her titles of "domestic engineer" and "retired railroad spouse". She loved her husband very much and treasured her children and grandchildren. She found much pleasure in establishing family memories through photo albums and achievement booklets.

Her home was her castle, and she kept it immaculate. She embraced every challenge and never stopped until the job was finished.

In addition to her husband, Pete, she is survived by her children, Monica Raybon "Moni" Jones (James), Shannon Raybon McCaslan and James Clifford "Cliff" Raybon, her grandchildren, David Brady McCaslan, Faith McCaslan and Blake Andrew McCaslan, her sister Faye Murray, her brother, Owen W. "Barney" Parnacott, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Louise Parnacott, her brother, William Jennings "Billy" Parnacott and her sister, Linda Berthelot.

Pallbearers will be Todd Gibbs, Julian "Pookie" Tye, Brady McCaslan, Ricky Stewart, Nathan Tye and Cliff Raybon. Alternate pallbearers will be Bob Gibbs and Josh Parish.
