Patricia "Pat" Shelton Hall

Patricia Shelton Hall, 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2022 after a long, joyful, and impactful life.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pat was originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, and went on to spend the majority of her life in Augusta, Georgia, where she touched many lives. Her zest for life was contagious. She truly knew the value of “stopping to smell the roses.” All the while, devoting a large portion of her time and energy to helping others. She was an avid volunteer and will be remembered for her servant’s heart and generosity.

Along with being an active member of the community, she loved spending time with family and friends, enjoying a swim at the Kroc Center, getting lost in a book, practicing Tai Chi, and walking with her loyal dog, Brandy, at Lake Olmstead.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Stuart Dabney Shelton and Helen Herndon Shelton. She is survived by her two sons, David and Jeffrey Hall; her grandchildren, Tanner and Leanna Hall; her brother, James Stuart (Freda) Shelton; dear cousin, Susan Male; beloved friend, Byron Gilbert; and her nieces and nephews.
