Patricia “Pat” Morris Fuller was a caring, loving, selfless mother, grandmother, wife, and dear friend to many. She left this world suddenly and painlessly, to be with our God in Heaven on September 1, 2022.
Services will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Abilene Baptist Church with Pastor William F. Harrell and Dr. Brad Whitt officiating. Interment to follow at the Old Abilene Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 until service time.
Pat was born in Augusta, GA where she lived the entirety of her life surrounded by friends and family. She was married to her faithful husband, Claude Allen Fuller, for a long and healthy 52 years. Together they had two children, Jessica Fuller Jobe (Jason) and Chance Allen Fuller (Gerry). Pat loved her family and spent much of her time with them and her four grandchildren, Jackson Jobe, Jaylen Jobe, Jameson Jobe, and Gibson Fuller.
Pat left an imprint on so many lives, as she was a faithful and wholehearted servant of the Lord. She was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 woman: unselfishly giving of herself, often times behind the scenes, but was the fragrance of Christ to everyone she met. She was a key part of but not limited to the following at Abilene Baptist Church: Women’s Retreats, Designed and Decorated Abilene’s Singing Christmas Tree, Vacation Bible School, Youth Sunday School, Senior Ladies Sunday School, Sanctuary Choir and Worship Team, Food Ministry for the Children’s Medical Center, Children’s Choir, and Leadership for the Women’s Ministry.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Morris; and her beloved brother, James “Jimmy” Morris. She leaves behind but will surely see again her loving husband, children, and grandchildren. She has a sister who she dearly loved, Gina Morris Annis (Mike). Pat also had countless close friends that would consider her family. She will be dearly missed and forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Pallbearers will be Chance Fuller, Jason Jobe, Kirk Bowen, Chip Lamb, Rushton Metzler, and Scott Fuller.
