Norman Paul Symons II

Mr. Norman Paul Symons II, beloved husband of Pam, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the chapel of Warren Church. The family will be available for visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Paul was born in Youngstown, Ohio, but spent his early years in Cleveland. His father’s military service brought his family to Fort Gordon, and Paul came to view the Augusta area as home. He was an Army Reserve veteran, and a skilled electrician who worked for SCE&G. Warren Baptist was his church home, where he was an active member of the Chedester/Turner Sunday school class.

In addition to his wife, Pam, he is survived by his son, Daniel Nathan Symons (Stacy), his siblings, Larry G. Symons (Linda), Claudia Bell (Frankie), Rick Flaherty, and Holly Flaherty. He is also survived by his grandsons, Ryker Hensley-Symons, his mother, Falon Hensley, his grandson, Valencio Symons and his granddaughter, Nayru Symons, his stepmother, Gerda Zeigler (Ken), also his extended family members, John Rinyu Sr. and John Rinyu Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Symons and Beulah Flaherty, his son, David Neal Symons, his brother Larry Hans Symons and his sister, Kathleen Grainger.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Chedester/Turner Sunday school class.
