Mary Sue Mrs. Brown

Augusta GA---Mrs. Mary Sue Brown, 70, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Trinity Hospital of Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm tomorrow Saturday, February 5, 2011, in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Dr. Sherrill Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at West View Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Augusta and was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Marie Rice Powell and three sisters, Dorothy P. Gates, Betty P. Dunham and Thelma P. Bodiford.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Julian D. “Dean” Brown, two sons, Wesley D. Brown (Shannon), Brian R. Brown (Karen), brother, Marion Powell (Carolyn) and five grandchildren, all of Augusta.
The family will receive friends this evening Friday, February 4, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
