Mary Jane Joplin

Martinez, GA - Mary Jane Joplin, 69, loving wife of 54 years to Richard E. Joplin, Sr., entered into rest on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Platt’s Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Robert Lehn and Rev. David Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Joplin was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking. Mrs. Joplin was a patient and Godly woman.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her son; Richard E. Joplin, Jr. (Sue) of Cumming, GA, daughter; Natalie G. Joplin of Augusta, GA, brother; William Otis Belding, III (Joy) of Augusta, GA, sister; Sue Jones of Eastman, GA, three grandchildren; Marisa Joplin, Sophia Joplin, and Isabella Joplin. She was preceded in death by her brother; Murphy G. Belding.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
