Margot Regina Golabchi

Mrs. Margot Regina Golabchi, beloved wife of the late Hossein “Soudy” Golabchi, entered into rest on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her residence.

Margot was born in Munich, Germany in 1938 to Max and Maria Botzenhard. She married Soudy Golabchi in 1965, and they remained happily married until his death in 2021. She was a graduate of business school and worked as a secretary until her retirement. Both she and Soudy were generous supporters of numerous nature and animal conservation organizations, as well as the American Heart Association, the Wounded Warrior Project and multiple other charitable organizations in Columbia County.

She is survived by her special friends, Mike and Debbie Zapata, Tom and Ursula Anderson and Dr. Arlon and Lisa Jahnke.

There will be no local services. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in her memory to the Columbia County Merchants Association, PO Box 204455, Martinez, Ga., 30917.
