Lloyd Arnold Newman, Ii

Mr. Lloyd Arnold Newman II, beloved husband of Lola Hammond Newman, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Lola, he is survived by his son; Lloyd A. Newman III (Barbara), his daughter; Meredith Newman Lester (David), a brother; Johnny Newman, his grandchildren; Laura Poole, Amanda Poole, Colby Lester, Jessica Kilts and Lloyd A. Newman IV, as well as his great grandchild; Michael Eli Poole. He was preceded in death by his sister; Annie Elizabeth Dickens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service time.
