Linda Sue Mitchell, 65, of Evans Georgia, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022, in Evans, Georgia.
Linda Sue Mitchell was born in Waynesburg Kentucky to William and Cecil Stickler on January 2, 1957. She went to school at Lincoln County High School in Kentucky. She married Charles Mark Mitchell.
She worked as an accountant for 30 years. Linda was a charter member at West Acres Baptist Church and had served on several committees and attended multiple Bible studies. Among her many talents, Linda had a warm sense of humor, creative eye, meticulous cuisine and strong work ethic. Her exquisite home, yard & gardens, her “DIY project engineering always amazed family and friends. She hosted bible studies & celebrations and coordinated business conferences with great energy and enthusiasm. She enjoyed making memories & now is rejoicing in the heaven with her beloved Mark & other treasured loved ones.
Linda Sue Mitchell is preceded in death by her husband; Charles Mark Mitchell, parents; William and Cecil Stickler, sisters; Eva Gutenson, Wilma Padgett, and brother; Billy Stickler.
Linda Sue Mitchell is survived by LeAnn Rodgers (Kevin), Abby Mitchell (granddaughter), Eugene Lewis (brother), Emma Mullins (sister), Amanda Sizemore (sister), Mary Coomer (Wayne), Margaret Caldwell (sister), Jeff Stickler (Tina).
Pallbearers will be Eric Simpson, Ray Short, Clay Wilson, Chad Caldwell, Jonathan Short, Nick Short.
Memorial contributions may be made to West Acres Baptist Church or any charity of your choice.
Visitation will be at 11am on Thursday November 17th at West Acres Baptist Church and Funeral services to follow at 12 noon with Larry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Platts Funeral Home
