Lewis "L.M." English

Mr. Lewis “L.M.” English, 85, beloved husband of 66 years of Mary Reeder English, entered into rest on April 26, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Whole Life Ministries on Friday, April 29, 2022 with Dr. Sandra G. Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 2:00 PM until service time.

Mr. English served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He retired from the US Postal Service after 31 years. Mr. English loved music and playing his steel guitar. He also volunteered in coaching youth football and girls basketball and softball.

In addition to his wife, Mr. English is survived by his daughters, Leslie English Deas (Paul) and Lynne English (Tess); his grandchildren, Kim Gilmer (David), Mary Jean Jones, Jeffrey Carter, Elaine Beckley (Travis) and Nathan English; his 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; his sisters, Loxie Reese and Wanna Usry (Joe); and his son-in-law, John Parham. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Parham and grandson, Matt Parham.
