Laura Wiggins Willis

Evans – Mrs. Laura Wiggins Willis, beloved wife of the late Julian L. Willis, entered into rest on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Pam Croom (Bill) of Evans, Ga., her grandchildren, Laurie Fort (Micah) of Evans, and Ashley David Vanderloop (Shona) of Punta Gorda, Florida, as well as her great grandchildren, Adam Vanderloop, Asa Fort and Rushton Fort. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Symonds (Charles) of Augusta, her two brothers, Richard “Dickie” Wiggins (Jane) of Augusta and Clifford Wiggins (Twyla) of Tulsa, OK, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, B.W., Gary, James and Mack Wiggins, and her sister, Marjorie Reese.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, July 12, 2015, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.
