Larry Don Roberts

Larry Don Roberts went to be with his Savior on November 28, 2025. He was born in Stanton, Texas, on December 25, 1941.

Larry lived in Midland, Texas, until his retirement in 2013, after which he and his wife Cathy moved to Grovetown, Georgia. Together, they enjoyed exploring their new home state and taking many memorable trips.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Cathy of Grovetown, GA; his son, Keith Roberts, and wife Christy of Midland, TX; his daughter LaDonna and wife Maxine of Albuquerque, NM; his granddaughter Lauren Huddleston and husband Bryan; and his great-granddaughters, Chloe and Leanna Huddleston, all of Harlem, GA., his granddaughter Kayla Roberts of the DFW area; his grandson Byron Roberts and wife Kayla Beth of Amarillo, TX; his sister Sandra Greer; his brother Jay Roberts; and his sister-in-law Carmen Roberts, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry was a quiet, no-nonsense man with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He loved the Lord, cherished his family, and found joy in the simple things of life. He had a passion for traveling to see beautiful scenery, playing golf, woodworking, and gardening.

A memorial service celebrating Larry’s life will be held on December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Platt Funeral Home in Evans, GA.
