Karen Denise Mccarthy
October 9, 1955 — March 20, 2023
Karen Denise McCarthy, 67, of Swansea, South Carolina entered into rest on March 20th, 2023. She was a native of Augusta, Georgia, and daughter of the late Fred and Gerry Fiechter.
She loved camping, fishing, or anything that involved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons Chris (Shannon) Hobbs, Nick (Sara) Hobbs, William Hobbs; daughter, Hollie Hobbs; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Diane Saarloos, Jackie Shurrab, Sharon VanBlaracom, Patricia Nichols; several nieces and nephews, and her best buddy Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her; brother, Butch Fiechter; niece, Ann Marie Saarloos, and the love of her life, her husband, Bobby McCarthy.
