Josie Mae Buck Testino

Augusta, GA---Mrs. Josie Mae Buck Testino, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at her residence, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm tomorrow Friday, February 4, 2011, in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend Hal Hodgens and Reverend Frankie Lee May officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Testino was born in Augusta, the daughter of William Buck and Josie Keel Buck and was a member of the Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Testino, Sr., parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include, two sons, Samuel A. Testino (Dale) of Augusta, GA, Paul J. Testino, Jr. (Mary) of Evans, GA, two daughters, Marsha T. Stanley (Walter) of Martinez, GA, Angela S. Testino (Frank) of Georgetown, SC, ten grandchildren, Tony Testino, Chris Armstrong, Trey Testino, Jenny Armstrong, Joe Testino, Allison Stanley, Brian Testino, Jaime Edwards, Chelsea Niwot, Frankie Leigh Niwot, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude, to the staff of Trinity Hospice and her caregiver, Sherrie Winstead, for their loving kindness and care to Mrs. Testino.
Pallbearers will be Tony Testino, Trey Testino, Joe Testino, Brian Testino, Robert White and George Croft.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of services, tomorrow Friday, February 4, 2011 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
