Josella Lowe Glover

Mrs. Josella Lowe Glover, beloved wife of Cornell Glover, entered into rest on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 28, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 4973 Washington Road, Evans, GA 30809 with Reverend Alprentice Smith officiating.

Josella was one of four children born to Johnnie and Thelma Lowe in Columbia County, Georgia. She graduated from Evans High School in 1975 and went on to attend Patricia Stevens College in Atlanta and obtained an Associate degree. After college she joined the staff of Macy’s cosmetic department, where she worked for 45 years. She was a long-time member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Joesella loved flowers and gardening, finding peace and happiness in nurturing each plant and watching it bloom. She also had a fondness for animals. Through the years, she loved and nurtured many canine companions, including Lady T, Sassy, Rocky, and her present fur baby, Catalina.

Josella is survived by her husband, Cornell; her brother; Charlie Lowe (Evelyn); her sisters Sheila Daughtry (Eugene) and Angela Pruitt (Lonnie); her cousin and caregiver, Elizabeth Faison; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and several godchildren.

The family would like to thank the nurses and support staff of Regency Hospice for the love and care shown to Josella during her illness.
