Johnna M. Ferrante

Augusta – Mrs. Johnna M. Ferrante, beloved wife of Rocco Ferrante, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Doctors Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Ferrante was an LPN for over 30 years, and always went above and beyond in the care of her patients. She loved animals, especially minpins and horses, and was kind and generous to strangers and friends alike.

In addition to her husband, Rocco, she is survived by her sons; Thomas Jebing and wife, Kam, and Shane Wilson, her granddaughter; Emily Jebing, her brother; Steven Engle, and her sisters; Marian Grady and Margaret Flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; John Engle and Mary Sullivan Engle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, May 1, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
