John Thomas Schiltz

Evans, GA - John Thomas Schiltz, husband of Eva Schiltz, died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 7, 2016.
Tom was a veteran of the United States Navy and enjoyed playing golf. He was also an active member of the American Legion Post 192. Tom moved to Evans in 1989 to work at SRS for Bechtel in Quality Assurance. He retired from Bechtel, but had previously worked for Boeing.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, a daughter; Laurie Solano and husband Bill and granddaughter; Ashley all of Kennesaw, GA. He is also survived by cousins, Bill and Ann Morse, Norman (Bud) Morse and Doris Whitten Messer.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration Of Life to be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the American Legion Post 192 in Evans.
