John George "Jg" Degeronimo

Mr. John George “JG” DeGeronimo entered into rest on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

John was born in 1994 in Port Jefferson, New York to John and Kerri DeGeronimo. He loved music and was able to play many instruments by ear. John also had a love for animals and children, and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephew. He was employed at Shane’s Rib Shack.

In addition to his parents, John and Kerri, he is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Edwards (Eric), Melissa Reneski (Ian) and Danielle DeGeronimo, his grandparents, Thomas and Barbara DeGeronimo, his uncles, Thomas Degeronimo, Michael DeGeronimo, Robert DeGeronimo and James Stanton, and his nieces and his nephew, Ava Edwards, Aria Edwards, Charlotte Reneski and Axel Edwards. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Barbara Stanton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon, April 9, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM, and again that evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Platts Funeral Home, Belair Road.
