Jimmy D. Walker

AUGUSTA, GA – Jimmy D. Walker, husband of Pat Walker entered to rest Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Doctors Hospital.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Platt’s Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Vina Mae Josey and Rev. Philip Burdette officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM before the service.

Survivors include his son, Jason Walker and niece Sue Tennis.

Mr. Walker retired after 20 years of service in the US Air Force. Military honors will be performed at graveside.

Pallbearers: Stephen Burdette, Allen Tennis, Andrew Jones, Otis Freeman, Perry Maddox and George Areras.
