Jerry "Steve" Steven Farrell

Jerry Steven Farrell was received in the arms of Jesus on January 21, 2026 in Augusta, GA. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Thurmond Farrell, his mother, Betty B. Barnard and his stepson, Chris Phipps.

Steven was born and raised in Augusta and graduated from Westside High School in 1978. Steven was a loving son and brother and enjoyed caring for his pet cats and dogs, riding motorcycles and once bred Siberian Huskies. He was a professional welder by trade with a strong work ethic and spent the majority of his career with Hamburg Industries and Augusta Iron and Steel. Steven was also a man of God and had a strong prayer life.

Survivors include his sister Lynn (Terry) DeLoach and nephew Chandler DeLoach, sister Susan (Larry) Howell, niece Katherine Lee Overton and great nephew Ryan Mason Jr. and former wife Virginia White who he deeply loved and remained friends with until his death. The family would like to recognize Robert Christian, a devoted friend of Steve’s for over 50 years.
