James "Jim" Elmus Sayre
September 10, 1932 — July 14, 2021
James "Jim" Elmus Sayre, beloved husband of Marilyn "Dolly" Sayre for over 65 years, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 with his family by his side.
Jim was U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He semi retired from Davis Hauling and fully retired from Jones Creek Golf Course.
His other survivors, besides his wife, are his daughter, Linda Price, two grandchildren, Devin James Price and Ashley Amerson Sapp, (Zachary) two great grandchildren,Corbyn & Skylar, his sister, Marion Davy and many other family members. He is preceded in dealth by his parents, Clarence & Mary Sayre and his son, James Allen Sayre.
A memorial service will he held on Sunday, July 25th at 5:00 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel in Grovetown with Pastor Matt Betosky officiating.
