Jack H. Tudor

Mr. Jack H. Tudor, 88, entered into rest on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Westwood Nursing Facility, Evans, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Crawford Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Brian LaFavor officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Tudor was a native of Augusta and a retired Chief with the Augusta Richmond County Fire Department. He was the former owner of the Jack H. Tudor Ceramic Tile Company, a member of the John S. Davidson Masonic Lodge #677, a longtime member of the Crawford Avenue Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Tudor was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Smith Tudor.
He is survived by two sons, Ray H. Tudor of Evans, GA, Randall O. Tudor, Sr. and wife Connie of Jasper, GA, four grandchildren, Randall Tudor, Jr. and wife, Becky, Dennis Tudor, Robby Riggins and wife, Amy, Russ Riggins and wife, Jill, great-grandchildren, Amanda Tudor, Randy Tudor, III, Torie Tudor and Brittany Tudor and a number of step great grandchildren. Plus three great- great-grandchildren and several nieces.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and a great grandson. Honorary pallbearers will be present and former members of the Augusta Richmond County Fire Department.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
Mr. Tudor will lie in state at Crawford Avenue Baptist Church, on Tuesday, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of services.
