Isabelle Snellings

Isabelle Anderson Snellings, 91, of Grovetown, GA passed away in the early morning of December 22, 2023. She was born to Lawrence and Florrie Anderson on October 17, 1932. Isabelle retired from the Graniteville Company in 1994 where she worked alongside her husband for decades.

She was a dedicated, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Her 91 years of life were full of joy. She spent most of her days actively involved in her community at church, cooking for her family, working in her yard, or waving at neighbors from her front porch. She filled each room she was in with laughter and love. Her final weeks of life were spent surrounded by her friends and family.

She is survived by her two children: Judy (David) Duke, Jeff (Lora) Snellings, her sister, Peggy Poole, nine grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Snellings, and three siblings: Buddy Anderson, Shirley James, and Tommy Anderson.

The family invites you to honor her life with them in the Mausoleum Chapel at Bellevue Cemetery on Wrightsboro Rd in Grovetown. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and a funeral will follow immediately afterwards at 2 o’clock.
