Holly Renee Hockman passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 3, 1962, in Aiken, South Carolina, Holly lived a life marked by her deep love for family, nature, and her unwavering enthusiasm for football.

Holly was a devoted mother who cherished every moment spent with her children, Cory and April Hockman. Her joy was especially evident during the Christmas season, a time she loved to create lasting memories with her family. Those who knew her remember a woman whose warmth and kindness radiated through her interactions, making every gathering special and filled with love.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Holly found peace and happiness in the embrace of the natural world. She took great pleasure in visiting the beach and mountains, places where she could reconnect with the serenity of nature. Her passion extended beyond the landscape to the world of sports, where she was a passionate Atlanta Falcons fan, always spiritedly rooting for her team.

Holly is survived by her beloved son, Cory Hockman, and daughter, April Hockman; her sister, Pamela Harvey; and her nephew, Justin Cain. She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Morris, Sr., and mother, Sandra Vanput.

Her family and friends will remember Holly not only for her loving spirit and strength but also for the joy she brought into their lives. As they mourn her passing, they also celebrate a remarkable woman whose legacy of love and resilience will endure.
