Heike Regina Smith

Heike Regina Smith, 70, passed away on June 4, 2026. Born and raised in Germany, Heike carried her strong roots and compassionate spirit with her throughout her life. She pursued a career in nursing, dedicating herself to caring for others with kindness and skill.

Heike married the love of her life, her devoted husband, Robert Smith, and embraced the journey of being a military wife, traveling the world and experiencing many remarkable places along the way. Those adventures shaped a life full of memories, stories, and connections she cherished deeply.

One of Heike’s greatest joys was her love for Disney. Her enthusiasm was unmatched, and she found true happiness in sharing the magic of Disney with her family and loved ones, creating moments that will be treasured forever.

Heike is survived by her loving husband, Robert S. Smith; her children: Norman (Jessie), Daniel (Trisha), Christel, and Caitlin. She was a proud grandmother to Alaric, Lillian, and Brayden, and a great-grandmother to Thalia. She is also survived by her sister, Petra Styra (Ulrike and Christian), and her brother, Rainer Zouritz, all of whom reside in Germany. She leaves behind a special friend, Ashleigh Richardson, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernst and Ursula Zouritz.

Heike will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled but a legacy of love that will never fade.
