Francis Edward Schmude

Francis Edward Schmude, born on November 11th, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2025, in Evans, GA.

Francis spent 18 years serving in the United States Army, reaching the rank of Sergeant. His time in the military was an important part of who he was and reflected his loyalty to his country and the values he believed in.

After graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School, he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Colorado Technical College, which helped shape his later professional life as an IT analyst at Oracle.

Family played a major role in Francis’s world. He was married to his beloved wife, Carol, for 37 years, and together they built a wonderful life. He is survived by his daughter, Amber, son-in-law Bobby Peppers, and his granddaughter, Lillian Peppers, all of whom brought him a great deal of joy.

Francis is preceded in death by his parents, Francis F. Schmude and Elizabeth Schmude, as well as his siblings Richard Schmude, Robert Schmude, and MaryAnn.

His memory will be held close by those who cherished him.
