Forris "Toy" W. Johnson

Forris W. “Toy” Johnson, age 88 of Martinez, died peacefully at home on Friday, September 4, 2020. Toy was a native of Warren County and was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Annie Johnson. He was a member of Abilene Baptist Church and a retired printer at the former Lily Tulip Company.

Forris is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frankie Story Johnson; daughter, Barbara Johnson; son, William F. Johnson (Patricia); grandchildren, Aprille Foster (Jeremy), Brandon Johnson (Becky), Jennifer Doggette (Nick); great grandchildren, Chandler Thigpen, Samuel Foster, Trystin Doggette, Savannah Doggette, and Addison Johnson; siblings, Leonard Johnson, Vivian Rabun, David Johnson, and Gloyce Hieber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elmer Kelley, Jones F. Johnson, and Linda Johnson.

A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Dr. William F. Harrell officiating. The family asks that facial coverings be worn and that social distancing guidelines be observed.
