Felecia Mullis Lawrence

Felecia Mullis Lawrence, 66, of Thomson, GA died July 13th, 2025, at home, after battling Alzheimer's disease.

She was born on May 12th, 1959 in Augusta, GA to the late Gilbert and Jeanette Mullis of Beech Island, SC.

She received a Bachelor's and Master's degree on Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina.

After teaching at Redcliffe Elementary School in Jackson, SC she movesd to Marietta, GA and retired after 33 years of service to the teaching profession.

She is survived by her husband James K. Lawrence of Thomson, GA and her two sons, James K. Lawrence II of Thomson, GA and Charles R. Lawrence of Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Mullis.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Family of Friends Foundation at www.theafof-foundation.org. Platt's Funeral Home of Evans, GA is assisting the family with their arrangements. A memorial is to be held at a later date.
