Evelyn Myers Hillman

Evans – Mrs. Evelyn Myers Hillman, 91, beloved wife of the late Harvey Hillman, entered into rest on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Trinity Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Hal Hodgens officiating. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Hillman, a native of Wilkes County, was a long-time employee of Bower’s Department Store, which later became Sky City. She was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church in Stapleton, Georgia.

Survivors include her son; Richard Hillman (Cheryl), her sisters; Shirley Nabors, Clarie Whitfield, Ann Cofer and Jimmie Johnson, her grandchildren; Jon Hillman (Katy), Allison Hillman Robinson (Drew) and Brad Hillman (Karen), as well as four great grandchildren; Brody, Lincoln, Henry and Bryce.
