Elizabeth Way

Mrs. Elizabeth Berry Way, beloved wife of the late Samuel Atwell Way, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends the evening prior on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Way will be fondly remembered by generations of former students for her role as secretary at Belair Elementary School for over 22 years. She attended New Life Church before illness prevented her regular attendance. She was a gardener and lover of flowers, and her family was most important to her.

She is survived by her children; Samuel D. Way (Patricia A.) and Debra Way Griffin (William Robert), a brother, Meredith Berry, as well as seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was reunited in death with her true love, Samuel A. Way, her sister, Mary Kinnibrew and her brother, James Berry.
