Edward Sanford Horne

Augusta, GA – Edward Sanford Horne, 90, beloved husband of the late Christine Hood Horne, entered into rest on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home.

Mr. Horne was born in Peachland, NC to the late Joseph Roscoe and Lillie May Hasty Horne. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and Korea.

Mr. Horne is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Joyce Horne, and Curtis and Nancy Horne; his seven grandchildren, Shelley and Eric McCraw, Bobby and April Horne, Melissa Horne, Katie Horne, Jeff and Caroline Horne, Madelyn Horne, and Travis Horne; and by his seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Horne was preceded in death by his son, Robert Edward Horne, Sr.
