Edward A. Corley

Mr. Edward A. Corley, age 85, peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Lake Crossing Health Center, Appling, GA. Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Monday, April 5, 2021 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Chaplain Ken Gross and Rev. Jordan Mims (Grandson of Edward Corley) officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00PM prior to the service.

Ed was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, a dedicated member of Martinez Bible Church, co-owner of C&S Fabricators, and a loving and giving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise Brigham Corley and his nephew, William (Billy) Corley.

He is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Powell, Martinez, GA; stepson George Mims (Elizabeth), Missouri City, TX and stepdaughter Nancy LaSalle, Evans, GA; his sister, Ruby Couch; grandchildren: Sydney Holland (JP), Aly Powell, Taylor Powell, Amanda Cox (Andy), Jordan Mims, Joshua LaSalle and Charles LaSalle; great grandchildren: Parker Holland, Corleigh Hambrick, Cameron Cox, Ava Cox, Jackson Cox, Isaac Mims, Ian Mims and Davis Mims; nieces: Keryl Corley, Sandra Chance and Marilyn “Lynn” Parker; grandnieces: Jessica Corley (Kris), Danielle Corley, Ashley Proper (Aaron) and Skylar Chance; great great nephew, Nelson Rodriquez.
